Nice! I saw this in an add banner over at game-artist.net earlier today, looks awesome. I can't begin to think about the nuggets of awesomeness you're going to be dropping!
Grats pig! I would definitely check it out if I had any free time or money . I'm sure you've got loads of knowledge to drop for us. How about a dvd or something that's a little more affordable, yeah?
$500 is a bargain for a course this length, there are less helpful game art courses here in Singapore that charge that much for a 3 hour session each week.
Wish I could join but it's still a lot to choke up...

no doubt! It's definitely a good deal. There have been a few other courses on there I wouldn't mind taking as well.
Any chance of this getting released on DVD a few months down the line? I'm pretty booked up for the next few months and cant really sacrifice the time for this...but it does look great!
Thanks a ton guys - I really appreciate all the support! It's shaping up to be a pretty fun class
I'll ask about the DVD's.. although, as the lesson structure goes, I think a lot would be missed out on without having the text lessons and feedback. Granted, there are hours and hours of narrated high res video, all of it kind of works together. Hard to visualize one without the other...
hey pig, this looks really cool
i'd really like to mention, as others have, how neat this would be to have on DvD or as a digital download for the future. It'd be really neat to be able to see your tips and workflow in greater depth than you do in a normal DvD, but it's hard to wrap a class around work. (especially when it takes place during a fixed date.)
how does this work? Is it a web-cam type class? Ventrillo type thing? The idea is really cool and intriguing. Did you write the syllabus?
Good luck with this, should be fun
//edit: i fail at the intertubes and just found the faq, answering a lot of questions... and feel like a dolt because aparently this kind of thing is pretty big. haha i win internets today
Thanks everyone - the class is almost filled up. Still a handfull of spots left to go. I'm looking forward to seeing the work that comes out of this class as well.
I'll try and get everyone to post their works once it's all done
I'm not sure just putting the class on DVD will do as much good as actually being part of the class. I think a separate DVD (or series) catered to that format would work better, at some point in the future.
