This dude has been apparently been raising this 800lb black bear since a cub. If only he was a dwarf.

Any who after some poking around it looks like there is actually going to be a show about as well.

I hope this doesn't turn out like that "grizzlyman" that got eaten along with his girlfriend in Alaska. I guess he didn't get the memo that sometimes BEARS EAT PEOPLE, but this one looks nice...for now...

I watched something on Discovery a while back sorta like this - it was a man that (not sure since birth) helped raise and take care of a few bears, it was fascinating.

Some of them def kind of looked photoshop. Bears carry around there own light rig where ever they go so it looks odd =p.

It just seems so crazy. I can't picture the bear hurting him since I would image he sees him as his father though I picture the bear getting mad and beating up someone else jealous for attention.

The video on the second link is pretty funny though

I would imagine the bear may have hurt him when he was still a cub and learned early on not to do that kind of thing. There was another guy by the name of Doug Seus who raised bears like this, Bart the bear being the most famous.

Something tells me the bear is a little confused. "And here you can see Bruce is giving me a grizzly kiss, that's pretty rare". Is it really? Every other shot the bear is getting some cheek action... Maybe he wears salmon cologne? That could get messy too.

from what i understand, timothy came to live with a wild group of bears,
they probably tolerated him untill they got hungry,

while this bear is rased from a couple weeks old by a man, so it should build up a different relastionship.. still bears though, but i highly doubt that its going to turn on him after all this awesomeness,

Timothy, if I remember correctly parked his tent in the middle of their migration trail, left some food out in his tent and well bears that just wake up after hibernation are hungry and a lil grumpy. It probably happened at night, the bear probably smelled the food, surprised them which surprised it and that never ends well.

Other people also warned him that he was getting too close and cuddly with wild bears.

Plus the wikipedia article writes that he was there in the worst possible period etc. Hopefully this dude won't become bear food because it really sounds awesome the way he, uh, coexists with taht bear.
