The boobz start off WAY to high up the chest. Crazy-ridiculous style boobz or no, you gotta work at least a bit off anatomy to make it work--check out some images of where they attatch to the body, like how the sides come from the armpit.
The face is ok for the style, but the mouth seems waay too small. I think the ears might be a little low as well.
Ive done a lot of changes to the face and i think that im happy with it so i created a uvmap
and applied flat colours to it just to see how its going to look.
im going to start with texturing the face next. wait with the hair until i get my wacom tablet.
Its going to be tricky to create the hair shapes with a mouse.
if it's DOA character u need to make those DD's some HH's, and make sure you weight it to a bone with a spring controller so you get some nice jiggles.
pro tip :
scroll inside your browser window so that only the face shows up on one of those pictures. Then imagine a DOA character very hard. Now scroll down. Ta-Daaa! Time to fix these proportions!
Thanks pior.
I tried to work on the proportions, i used some good reference images from different
characters that i really like and that's what i came up with...
Well since the title still mentions DOA ... maybe try this : on a front view, ground to crotch = or > crotch to top of the cranium. That's the supermodel proportions, hard to miss!
The biggest problem I see is that the bridge of the nose and the surrounding polys that connect to the eye are pushed back too far and are possibly a little too far apart as well. At this point it's moot since you seemed to have moved to texturing but something to keep in mind.
the main thing that I notice is the size/roundness of the thigh/legs compared to the pelvis/butt. The front from her hip to her thigh almost looks like a continuous plane.
Honestly, to get this right, I would suggest looking at REAL human models. You can go to 3d.sk or even just a swimsuit page. You are missing a few key curves like the ones that transition from the hip to the thigh. If you study a real female picture you'll probably see it.
In games like DOA of course they stylize it by tweaking proportions, but what makes is SEXY is that the curves from one part to another are in all the same places as in a real person.
Heck, now that I'm looking at it some more, just select the legs individually, scale them up a bit and see how that looks.
After all your comments i decided to tweak the model and try to match it more to the doa style.
I got a lot of reference images and i started to work on the head.
Also, keep in mind that im not trying to copy a DOA character, im trying to create a new one and the shapes and size vary between all the characters. * Texture is only temporary at the moment!
That's a vast improvement. Something I noticed later was that the breast are a little odd. There is no real obvious crease between breasts. Its more of a gentle Y shaped curve on top. I guess what I'm saying is go look at some boobs. lol
bmasterson, i will tackle the body next. first i want to make sure that im happy with the head. i designed a new hair style for my character and wanted to get some crits on the new head and hair before i move on! Thanks for all the comments....
very good i'm glad to see you start putting the criticism to good use... i like the new improvements to the head its 100% better. Try adding some eyebrow though it looks unnatural how her eyes sit in her head.
style crit: the one bead on the single strand of hair coming from the part, looks tacky...
that head has improved so much.
now for body crits.
I think that there is too sharp of an indent in between the breast, and they point out too much. normally she will be wearing something? makes the breast more round:
also, the forearms dont look right.
something about the way the hands are connected and the position of the thumb, cant really point out what it is though.
how many heads high is she? try and go for 8 cuz its super sexy. the chin of fourth head down should meet the crotch area. then from there proceed to add height according to 4 more heads.
I tried to do my best on the chest and i recreated the hand using reference materials this time.
If you have any other crits please let me know!
Thanks

Loking awesome
oh, and .. er.. keep up the good work. it's coming along nicely. if i were you i'd exaggerate some of her curves.
with DDs
dunno
It's coming along, just tweak out those proportions and you'll be a big step closer to an awesome model.
this is what I was thinking.
...Its creepy...
ohhai~ my name anime. I have not seen you here before. nice to meet you ^_^
I think im happy with the face but i will appreciate any crits.

This is a start do some searching and i'm sure you'll find even better references

Im still working on the texture of the head.
When i'll finish with the texture i will tackle the body!
Attached is the body after a lot of tweaking, and the head after applying base textures to it.
now for body crits.
