DWIV - 3D - WHW
Greetings Polycounters!
I've decided to side with PC for this competition and I started this almost a month. I wasn't sure if work commitments would permit me to see this through, but what the hey... Let's see how far I get :P
It was a toss-up between Demon and Robots, in the end, I went for cyborg. Mainly to see how I can bring the organic and non-organic together on the battle field.

Developed two of them further:

No back story at the moment, but playing around with some thumbnails and speaking to a friend of mine afterwards (www.exula.co.uk), he suggested I steer more towards insectoid/crustacean. Which kinda works - this is his concept:

Yeah, I know... You're all thinking it looks somehow familiar - I guess all sorts of ideas were subconsciously coming through even though I made a big attempt to avoid looking for any references on the web :-/
Model to follow in a bit - I'll put up the various iterations for sake of the WIP rules.
