+1 for the black and green, hope there's room. So this is the concept Ive decided on, will start modeling pretty soon.
So i guess I should try and sell him a bit.....ahem. BEHOLD! Mighty Belezar and his faithful steed Burney! Woe to those who meet them upon the battlefield. Armed with his sacred Fire Katana, Belezar rains fire and death to all who oppose him. Burney can run with the lightning speed of twenty baby cheetahs and create a wall of fire behind him. Yes, Demon prince of Old Belezar and Burney! What a pair they make! Who dares stand against them. The tales of their deeds are legend. Like the battle of Lotus Blossom. Where with mine eyes I did see Belezar defeat an army of 10,000 with nothing but a 32 pound salmon. Mighty Belezar ...and Burney! Here from the Oro dimension on a mighty quest. Hero to thousands, scourge to billions!

Happy to see more soon, till then good luck!
Keep it up!
Killaball: haha, ty I hope you like how its going, looking forward to get into zbrush soon.
Sectaurs: truer words were never spoken. Although hes eating vegetables with the hamburgers, lettuce and tomatoes for example, I guess I'll hafta settle for that.
Valandar: not sure what or who Rurouni Kenshin is. I just thought "Oro" was a word that could fit. I guess I should research that a bit more.
Em.: get out of my head! haha yes! I was totally thinking about that horse when I was sketching. That cartoon was epic.
conte: I'm feeling a little behind because GDC kicked my tooshy. But thx man, appreciate it
update:
that shoulder pad is pretty rockin, and the fatness/ and or bowing under the weight of the demon is pretty funny-
konstruct: thx man, really glad you like the style.
SuicideCrotchShot: Yea that bothered me too, i might beef it more when i can get the time.
update:
Vig: thx man, means alot.
Scrumpy: yo, thx dude.
update
Can't wait to see more "tomfoolery" (great word BTW...and much under used)
Just a thought: As this piece has a strong samurai feel, and he's a horseman. Have you thought about giving him a bow. Samurai Horsemen were usually skilled archers as well, as far as I'm aware anyway. I might be wrong. Or maybe give him a standard to bare. The model doesn't need any extras though so you might not want the extra work.
Keep it coming though...

nkoste: ty ty, im gonna try.
woogity: thx man, I dig your wabbit.
Helixx: Brilliant you say? frek, thank you. I'll hafta show my wife that post.
What ho! Why its Belezar prince of Darkness and his faithful steed Burney! Er... with normals.
Yunda: No not at all, Max-Zbrush-XNormal.
Edit: Lol, just noticed Burney's Likes/Dislikes.
jpgourley: thx jp! heres an update but I have a ways yet to go on the diffuse. Yea Burney is a fickle horse when it comes to eating.
Anyway, lookin' awesome, keep it up!
So its Belezar and Burney in the land of Marmoset, which i'm really digging btw. Although I'm not sure how to view 2 sided polys. Hafta finish the diffuse and fix some seams. Gave Belezar a new Shoulderpad and although I like the older one, this one seems to fit a more samurai style.
conte: I'm glad you like them, I'm hopoing they will make a dynamic duo.
Vig: thanx dude, I dig your thread too.
rollin: yo! im working on it!
Ged: Hey Ged, yea my wife agreed with you, so I tried to change it up a bit. Hope u like what i came up with.
Keep it up!
Ahem.... Shameless plug: looking for an entry level job, if anybody knows a guy who knows a guy, I'd owe you a life debt.
Good luck finding a job, this should definitely help!
