How to copy maya hotkeys from one computer to another?

Anyone care to tell me how to transfer hotkeys from 2008 to 2009 on a different computer, I tried copying the userhotkeys.mel but it did not work. It appears like I have to copy 2 files to get the hotkeys working?

go to documents/maya and copy all over the files, thats what I do always.

in the prefs folder I believe the only 2 files you would need to copy is userHotkeys.mel and userPrefs.mel
