Like many of you I trawl the net a lot for images and reference. However, and this may seem extremely lazy, I was wondering if there was a way I could setup a hotkey to save an image I come across in my browser by just say holding ctrl and left clicking on it and it'll save the image to the last location I specified?
I usually go to the folder itself to sort out the images anyway i'd just like a quick way to collect refs whilst i'm browsing and if anyone has a better/quicker method let me know, just seems right clicking/select save image as and hitting ok on file location has become tedious I use it so often :S
I use vista 64bit/firefox.

Dont know about firefox - propably out of the box not maybe search for a extention though honestly I have already searched before myself and most of them force some user input on you like assign filename each time or so.

Just set it to filter all images, then aim it where ever you want.
Tick the "performing left double click saves to last saved folder" in the misc options tab

or other typical patterns people use in galleries and such? Becuase at least the way I described in Opera always generates unique filenames so that never a image gets overwritten automaticly.
