I should mention that the modeling is done in 3ds Max 2010 so its not just a sculpting DVD.
As for the game version, Part 1 (which is this) goes over creating the high res, and Part 2 (coming out next in a month or so) will be taking this and then creating the low res (UVs, Baking options, in depth etc).
The idea behind this series is a more complex and modular design than the pillar, and more time spent in each section, without cramming it all into 1 DVD.
Pillar tutorial 10/10, my 2 cents is regardless of which app you use (zbrush imo) if possible could you go into more depth how exactly you create the appearance of crumbling, rocky type damage if indeed you cover this is in your next tutorial. Just found it difficult for my pillar not to end up like soft melted chocolate!
