Hi guys,

It's hard not to take part of this, lots of great work in the oven already on the forum.
I'm doing a Demon Lord mastering Darkness as his inborn fusion of power; he's able to raise and control armies out of shadows at his feet.

I'll be posting in the coming days what I have in mind, good luck to everyone!

Thanks! Well I'm pretty slow at this one, time to change gear!

I finally made up my mind with a design, at least the start of it. There will also be baby demons, they'll be very cute I promise. Things come together more easily in 3d for me so I'll continue exploring with my mesh when I move forward. I'll explain tomorrow the background story with the whole egg business on his back. (must sleeep Zzz)

Hi guys, here is a first pass on my Demon Lord's head, I'll add more detail later on in the process. I'm still kicking around some ideas but I'll give a sculpting pass on the body next to see how it all comes together.

I kind of changed my idea, so far here is what I have in mind

Background Story:

This Demon is part of a rare selection of Demon Lords specializing in Demon Rebirth. The fastest way for Demons to travel to different worlds is to die and be reborn. This can be done only through a special blood line of Demon Lords acting as egg carriers which are deposited from their Queen. The eggs grow on the Demon's back until they are ready to hatch. Entire armies of minions primarily devoted to defend their carriers until reaching maturity can spread over night, destroying everything in their path...

Wow, this is a really fun character. And baby demons and eggs on the back is such a delightfully gross idea. Knowing your previous work, this is going to be an intense sculpt. Looking forward to seeing your workflow and how this progresses.

I've been working on the body, trying to make him more creature-like, hopefully I can post some updates tonight!

I really like the concept of egg carrier and rebirth. I think playing up some feminine characteristics could make this really great!
