Hi again...
thanks Rick Stirling,I have considered put a lower half of many animal, but the horse agrees more with the fibrous body ...
Now I am thinking that type of protection was taking in the legs, in order that he could walk without problems...
Thank you very much for your commentaries coldkodiak, you have reason, I am thinking some type of armor about the top part.
While I finish for deciding of the details of armor and the final color of the set, am creating the body base in 3d to remove to zbrush.
Thank you
I really like the thick, fleshy-looking tail, and the visible musculature on the horse body is awesome... the human torso looks a little weird at first, but as a hard reflective exoskeleton, very cool! Reminds me of formians from D&D. Sweet horn design too, though maybe the trapezius region could be a bit thicker to support them.
Vrav thank you very much for your reply, Still I continue experimenting with the type of surface on the torso. You have reason the zone of the neck and the trapeze still I have to give form
Hello boys and girls from Polycount the absence of some changes in the head and the gun, I finished the high poly, I had to revamp the concept and that many of these things would give me time to finish. This is the first time that im participating in dominance, and my goal is to finish the model and overcome the previous models I've created.
I hope you enjoy it. As of now I will start working on the gun and the low poly.
55joe thank you very much for your comment, I saw your work is impressive.
This is the first evidence of texture in the material, it may be better to use an alpha channel for the edges ...¿?
Thank you
looks cool. if you have the poly budget for edging i wouldnt worry about it but if you wana save some tris, alpha isnt a bad idea.
your texture: i see it has the greentooth logo in it but its so hard to see i almost missed it
dude these textures are too noisy and contrasty for me, try adding some more brightness and defining the overall shapes of muscles and details first. let the normal map and ao do the work then add special effects(green glows splatter textures etc) only where you see them really working well eg the end of the spear head rather than liberally splattering the texture with effects. Just trying to help, hope it comes out well expression and pose are good
You're right, I am not satisfied with the Difuse texture, I was stuck and not know how to fix it
i dont know how to do " adding some more brightness and defining the overall shapes of muscles and details "
any advice?
This is the map
I'm afraid I did not finish in time because
I have to do the final images and monday is the last day
the new entry date is 18th you have another week, dont give up yeah this diffuse map is very noisy. Id say go back to basics on the texture, get your flat colours and AO map in there and then remember to be more careful/considered about where what colour or noise texture goes and how strong those colours or textures will be. Try Use the specular/normal map to make stuff pop out or be contrasty not the diffuse, the diffuse can be quite flat and boring in some places really - check out some other peoples diffuse for examples.
Ged and 408 : thank you very much for your advice.
Attempt to improve the texture, I start from scratch with colors and have reduced occlusion texture.
For now the texture seems more clean
looks much neater and theres hes actually a more identifiable character now that looks like he has a race/culture, nice work the glows on the spears still look a bit random and the green eyes look a bit too much like primary green so they loose shape or style and become a blob of colour, maybe try a subtle green to yellow glow/circular gradient in the sockets?
