I like the wheel better than the legs but I think if your going to go this route you really need to get some reference from things like motorcycles so you can figure just how an axle would really attach to the rest of the body. Having some exposed ammo belts that feed into those guns might be kinda cool as well.

Thanks - love the ammo belt idea, and I'll get onto axle research right now!
OK tried two different ways to attach the wheel, one sided motorcycle kind of thing and a big futuristic mudguard idea. Also two different magazine styles. Which do you guys thinks works best?
I think he'd burn through the ammo clips in a couple of seconds with those big vulcan cannons. You'll need a continuous feed of some description, the chain being the most obvious design.
The mudguard makes the design feel a bit more solid and chunky which may or may not be what you want to go for. I'm not sure about the asymetric design. It might work with a bit more development, but it looks kind of awkward as it is at the moment.

Managed to get it to a low res mesh - about to take in into zbrush. I know I'm probably going to miss the deadline - but I just want to finish it anyway - I've learnt so much during this

I'm being very slow with this, but here's where I'm at right now

yeah it needs to be ALOT stronger and massive looking for your machine.. But think it will bi a bit more interesting with a none symetrical look down around the wheel.. and not to ducktales gizmo like=) even if he is fucking awsome^^.. http://cybernetnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/gizmoduck.jpg
cheers
Stert - that one side axle/fork thing was exactly what I was thinking about! I never
saw the ducktales thing before, but that is hilarious
thanks man!

I agree Jack! Thanks for your help:)
Anybody feeling this? The ammo is stored inside the back wheel and fed down the axle arms into the guns
a spool of bullet belts feeding the gun.
