No, it's more like a Polearm, with a built on shield. She sticks her hand in it, sorta like a Mega Buster from Mega Man.

An armour redesign of my toon, wasnt too happy about the last design. But since Im in this thing full force now, I thought Id redesign her to something Im more happy with

she reminds me of ivy from soul calibur, but with a rounder face (and a lot smaller breasts)

I dont like that crossover link between the thigh pads to knee pads. They look awkward and the "X" shape jumps out and grabs my attention, when it really isn't that interesting so its more distracting than anything.

I actually preferred the previous design of her leg armor

and demon princesses/cyborgs can look sexy too

Yeah you're right, the crossover straps in front of her legs are distracting. Going to rework that area, massage it a little more.

As for the latest, as I was modeling out the hip armour, I fell into a design that I thought was more interesting. Gives it some cool layering too.

I hate to be such a hater after all the help youve given me, but I agree about the straps/frontal armor. I see a bunch of this kind of thing in anime and games and I always think:
"man, why dont they just shoot that bitch in the crotch?!"

I guess the anwser is that she has sexyness armor.

Yeah I agree. I'm reworking the design of her lower portion ... AGAIN. Not going to lose the hip guards, but going to rework the design elements to help fit better. Thank gawd for drawovers ... will post what I come up with.

Nice changes you made there man. Only thing that bugs me is the cloth thing thats attached to the thigh armor from left to right. I would prolly get rid of it and then replace it with those loose straps that you have going on the next row.

Still need to add the loose straps. Going to add some to the Syringe as well. Redesigned the Syringe too. The old design wasn't working with her new design. Maybe add some armour elements to the Syringe too.

that weapon is awesome! I don't know which would be worse -- having your fluids sucked out or having something injected into you. Either way it's be terrible. Nice work thus far -- killer meshes and design!

I really like the cleanness of this design, it's a sharp contrast from all the demons, fatrolls and gnashing teeth that are so common in this contest (my own work included). The weapon is completely bad-ass, and I love the hilt. I hope you add the bangles and hangy bits that were in the paint-over soon

Thanks Drywall. Exactly, they should have just called this contest, Demon-ance War (see what I did there?) I'm tired of looking at the all the "hey I can zbrush" demons. I hope they kill them off next year. Yours is looking great though. Tentacles + My character = Made for each other. Nah meen?
