Problem with modo's brush symmetry

I recently trying modo as an option for projection painting. I sculpted the mesh in Mudbox and then exported the obj to modo for painting (mudbox lag as hell when I try to paint, it's very annoying). Everything else seems to work fine, but the symmetry just wouldn't work. And I couldn't figure out what I did wrong. Can anybody please point me to the right direction? My model is exact symmetry model, just a naked chick, so it shouldn't be that complicated. Thanks in advance.

For symmetry, modo requires the vertex positions to be exactly opposite on the symmetry axis. Usually when sculpting, it can shunt vertex positions out by a fraction of a unit, so when you import it back into modo, it's just asymmetrical enough to break the symmetry.

You could try deleting one half of the mesh and mirroring it back over. Or there's the symmetry tool to make it symmetrical again, but on a high-res sculpt that's probably going to take a while.
