Second concept
Your second concept seems to go in the right direction, the proportions of the upper body look good. Legs could need some more work.
Maybe try to push a bit away from the human form.

Started modeling the light armor
As for the eyes. It may be a little much but maybe it would work better in the eyes of the armor plate? Just a thought.
The work your doing with the back of the head is one of the coolest things I've seen in awhile.

Coldkodiak, you are right! Effects of glow eyes it`s not final - because it`s very fast effect in the Photoshop.
A.Kincade - about glowing eyes on an armor, it`s good idea! thank you. I will think about it.

Hands will be fix, because one of hand will be magic, with very smooth transit from flesh to something stones with horns And soo of course - will be some armour there too!

The only crit would be on the stomach/rib area, I'd try continuing some of the shapes you have in the upper torso into the anatomy or covering it up.
