View Panel Menu disapeared

Hi, i feel kinda like an idiot because i have to ask this, but the view panel menu in maya suddenly vanished, and i have no clue how to get it back.
Panel Menu = View, shade, light, etc...

Maybe check under window > settings or preferences. Or check Maya's help docs. There may be a hot key you pressed on accident.

press space > hotbox controls > window options (on the bottom) there you go.... its a bitch to find that the first time

If you're in maya 2009 you probably hit shift + m they added a bunch of hot keys to hide ui elements, shift m, ctrl m, shift ctrl m
