i have no idea why your thread isnt getting bombed with comments, those are some very nice sketches man albiet a bit rough they have good form and lots of points of intrest. like them esp the composition in your top one. keep em coming!
Nice sketches! You really have an eye for this type of thing... looks like it comes naturally. If I had to choose one, my favorite right now is the 4 legger. Sky's the limit with 2D!
Loved the tank design on top of the page, but the ssecond drawing is pretty kick ass, looks like a cyborg transformer to me....sweet! Keep the sketches coming mate!
Awesome work BD, really really dig your style in line. I like all that you have shown so far so I can't say which one you should do...maybe all 4?:P haha jk. Great work!
Thanks for all the great comments. I have some freelance and such to finish up so I am not sure when the next update will come but I hope soon. Now, on to the specific comments:
Woogity--Thanks for the encouragement. This is my first contest of this magnitude and I hope I can generate some interest! Also, the panels of the Eye are made of an "as yet to be determined" material.
Kamui--I really love drawing robots and environments that are rediculously detailed, but believe it or not, I had to work VERY hard at learning to draw armor and such.
Zatoichi--Another artist I know loves the same style. I was trying for a more smooth, functional look with the Quad-leg.
Flightpunch--You are probably right, hence back to the sketchbook.
Spark--If only I had the TIME!!! Heh...
The hunched over design on the left of the upper picture looks like the pick.
The leg structure on the lower one looks kind of awkward. I think it'd need an extra pair of legs like a beetle to be able to walk with any degree of success

I also would love the third one done a bit more in the 'Ma.K' /Machinen Krieger or Makoto Kobayashi style, but I am a bit bias.

I really dig the latest one. Not sure what's going on with the torso, but it sure looks interesting!
Thanks for the encouragement and insights!
