Hey there guys. Recently i have had the shit luck of having my laptop die on me and i really really need a new one. I do not need the latest and greatest but i would like that can run all of the 3d applications i use like 3dsmax,photoshop and zbrush as well as being a half way decent gaming machine.

Can you give me any recommendations? Im looking to spend $1600 tops but it doesnt mean i wont go lower.

$1600 is a good budget, you could get a lot for that.

I cant really find if shipping out of the UK is possible with this site, the reason i say $1600 is that i still have a U.S bank account and i am hoping i can get more bang for my buck. Then have my brother ship it to me.

EDIT:No shipping to the Oo Kay

Just customize. Dell, HP, etc. all let you build customized laptops. Got an HP that I'm very happy with.

I can fully recommend a Dell laptop (but get one of the manly ones with a good graphics card). I got myself an inspirion and it has worked really really great for me. Got one of the better screens aswell in it so it works quite ok. Getting a bit old now though but it can still keep up.

Had no issue with support either (I got the wrong screen, kind of shitty of them but yeah they quickly fixed that). Dell got alot of shit for their computers and support back in the day but i have to say that it´s alot better now. I´d buy from them again. (LAptop that is. Stationaries i build myself)

PS: Call them and you can haggle on the computer price and/or get extra options not available in the configurator. It´s wicked sweet :)
