Looking for an image transfer program

Hey all, I'm looking for a free program that will allow me to instantly swap pictures back and forth with others. When I'm not working with someone in person, I need a way to send and receive images on the fly, sort of like posting a pic in a chat window when using AIM.

Gmail and other email methods take too long and are an inefficient use of time. Having to open, view, attach, send. If I can just toss an image in, hit Enter and have the other person see it, it makes critiques and group work far more efficient.

Any suggestions?

I was trying to avoid any additional chat services like Yahoo!, AIM, ICQ, etc. Looking for something that's sole purpose is image trading. Ya, I'm getting picky I know.

You could use microsoft live mesh. It's like getdropbox. Just create an account and then you can put files into a folder on your computer and it automatically syncs them online and with any other computer with access. You do absolutely nothing else.

Picasa is another option, just like dropbox and live mesh. Create a google account and share it with the people you work with.

Maybe have an ftp folder you can just drop images into and they can view as normal?
