Just done some concepts and testing stuff out...

its a demon. the body is sposed to be rigid bone-like... inside will be total darkness :poly142:

so, it will be leaking darkness at the mouth, and in a few holes in the body

the head will be expressionless, and the whole thing will look good/neutral.. until it opens its mouth

gotta make this more 'solid', etc

o yeah, the tail is guna be as long as I can get it within the triangle count... unless its ridiculously long

    before going into this hard-bone-surface detail, try some silhouettes first to get a good overall balance.
    the ones you have there are still too generic

    I like where this is going, try some variations on the proportions, at the moment the tail looks too long.

    I know it’s very early but I would attempt to work out more details for the head, how does it see and hear ect.

    Also consider if the whole outer body is hard it won’t be able to move as it’s a demon I suggest adding some sinewy sections to the areas where the model will require pose ability.

    Also have you considered adding more legs, or even no legs and only 2 small thin arm/hands? Maybe even overlapping fins at the front as I picture your demon flying as opposed to on rooted on land.

    thanks. The whole outer white bit is supposed to be an exoskeleton, so it will be in segments, but I will definitely think about using sinewy sections... might be cool. The plan with the head, however, is to have no facial expressions or anything, it will be just like a bit of bone. The black stuff inside is sposed to be where all the stuff is going on, so even if it does have ears/eyes, we cant see it (if this sounds stupid, ill add eyes at most lol) I have considered adding more legs, i was thinking either 6 or 4.

    thanks, will do, Im thinking about making the bit where the legs attach wider n stuff. I like the long tail though, it is snake-like or dragon-like

    yeah man if this thing is gonna work out, you need to find a way to put tons of interest in its body while it's mouth isn't open.

    ok, i MIGHT do a robot now...

    Im thinking of developing this into a 4 legged robot or something. It will probably be fully plated with shiny.. fibre-plastic stuff. And have a load of lights on it

    i would have done more before i posted, but i am tired and am going to sleep
