So, it's easy enough to make great cables, cords, etc. with zSphere chains in zBrush, anyone know a way to make strap or belt-like shapes with them instead?

or is just a better/quicker option to model them in maya/max?

Just trying to find ways to keep the switching back and forth to a minimum..

If you want to keep it all in ZBrush you could make a ZSphere and use the retopology tools to load your sculpt that you want straps on, and then just draw out quad strips until you have as much as you need. You can give it thickness when converting to adaptive skin, I believe.

ya, thanks man, that definitely works too. Just seemed like zsphere chains would be a great, really fast way of creating those kinds of objects, and I thought maybe there was just something I was missing.
