Hoo Ahh!

First Dominance War I've entered, so I know I probably dont stand a chance in hell against all the awesome stuff thats going to flood in from every direction. Regardless, my Demon is fighting for Polycount!

    try some more before you jump on something. Even if just variations on the same design. It isn't bad so far, but it's also not jumping out at me.

    Good idea. I can play around with the details of the parts that are still vague like the head arms/hands and accessories.

    This fellow is a Demon Prince (obviously) and he has the ability to summon death. Seems fitting as death is the best choice for the teams green & black color scheme.

    I started with a quick idea then just ran with it. I baked out the textures and put it on a low poly mesh. I've never actually made a character in "pieces" before but for this I want to start and get into that habit. Since the chest piece will hide the seam between the torso and head, its a logical point to have a split. I know the head is pretty bland right now, but I plan on making the focal point the large headpiece which will end up covering the top of the head and half the face anyway.

    nice render man! that looks great! loving what you did with it! I like the sharp edges around his cheek bone, brow, neck, collar bone... the Skin texture is looking great! Keep up the great work! looking forward to seeing some armor put on that bad boy. You have more thumbnails or drawings on those details of the face, armor ect...?
