I like what everyone else does. But I prefer the first one even more. There's so much potential in such a simplistic design. He looks like jester daemon from hell to me
The bottom two are my favourites so far. I really like the proportions of the demon at the bottom right, he looks like he'd be this nasty little weasel type dude that would annoy the living shit out of everyone but would have balls of steel and just terrorize.
The bottom left one is ace due to the overall silhouette, I like the direction that one is going and the weapon shape suits it really well.
I love all those. Except for that top middle guy. Gives me the willies.
Seriously tho, they're all awesome. My favorite is the octopus guy. That just kicksass.
Still 5 and 1 on first lot I think. But I do like the guy sitting on the boulder/crystal in the new lot. Great weapon as well. He could pass as either Norm or Demon

...have decided to go with the tentacled dude. Still fairly wip, especially his gear/armour/sword etc which I'm not totally digging at the moment.
like the splitarm structure of the second pair of arms alot, very interesting design you can do alot with the lower body cant wait to see what your doing witht that. good spacing on the base, should be real fun for sculpting.
totally agree kodiak, that image probably isn't the best reprasentation from the waist down. I've blocked out his lower tentacle things, will show an updated concept/paint over of that soon for some feedback...

I really like the shapes you've got going in the head area, the skull and the jaw area particularly. Those horns might look good with some ribbed/armor plated looking lines sculpted in at intervals down the horn.
Nice sculpt and accessories, and love that weapon! The tentacles could be a tad longer, with smaller suckers, maybe a third of what you have mocked up there.
cheers guys...still a little iffy about the tentacles was thinking of adding some smaller random ones in between if I have enough polies. One reason I cut down on some of his gear, was to save on geo as I want to animate him later and would like him to deform well an have a heap of stuff for secondary motion etc....
...still need to add strapping to the shield etc, and fix up the claws on his back ( little overboard on the detail ) also has two disk weapons that hang on those spikes near his hips...( sword not to scale btw )
Very nice! I agree that some smaller more random tentacles further up the jaw could add some nice variation. The only thing that bugs me is how those claw like protrusions connect to his back. They break up the form nicely but I don't think those growths really compliment the rest of his strange anatomy. Maybe borrow a similar element you've used on the body and mesh the two together. The claws themselves are strange because there aren't any other bony pieces coming off him so maybe you can make them more curved and smooth like his upper and lower tentacles?
hey dig the overall style of this guy i think the tentacles may suffer a little from lack of detailing on the outward side of them its hard to sell organics without any sort of wrinkles or texture to them, then again it may look more alive once posed.

Kicker those claws on his back aren't meant to be part of him but more of a trophy rack of sorts. Sort of like his warrior class must kill a certain demon type and they then wear the claws of said demons on their backs as a show of attaining that rank...( or something like that :P ) Hopefully it will read a bit better once all the strapping is in place.
