Bobo:
Nice sketch man, I agree the small spikes might be a little bit too out of place and busy, perhaps make them larger forms so you still get ridges just less of them for the low poly and not so noisy?
Warbringerd: No, there isn't. But there's also no prize for people who signed up 3 minutes ago and decide to levy veiled insults against someone many of us have known for years, and consider a friend and colleague.
Dude settle a little...I'm not trying to insult the guy, infact I love everything I have seen that he has done, I'm constantly on his site for inspiration. I'm back to this thread on an almost daily basis. I know he is a busy fellow and I'm waiting to see what he turns in. My comment was purely in jest, as you can plainly see this thread gets tons of views and I think Bobo has posted like 5 times, its one of those threads that has a life of its own and the owner need not attend......(edit poor grammer)
Sorry guys! I finished a milestone at work and had to jump on a flight for GDC. I'm back and will have something in the next few days. I've also put in a time off request. I'm going to take a week off to dedicate to my character.
Ah man, right when I was about to call shenanigans on you...you bust out some awesome low poly basemesh goodness. I don't know what it is yet, but I know it's gonna be awesome!
That's a nice and clean base mesh, i will follow your thread without no doubt!
I would enlarge a bit those horns, following the curve path of them. I have curiosity about how will you do the face , and looking at the silouette, i think you could have a stronger one if you stylise a bit some proportions.
Anyways, keep it up! i'm sure you will come with an astounding piece of work.
Looking real sweet already. The only thing i don't think that's as interesting as the rest of the body is the hands and the end of his legs (the claw-like shape). But you haven't sculpted them out so don't listen to me. Haha. Love your stuff and can't wait to see this develop further.

Warbringerds point, while a little direct, has merit.
Re: Hurry up and show more shit, Brian.
Fair call though, did sound a bit that way lol, just didn't see the point of such a unhelpful post.
I'm sure Bobo can fight his own battles.
Post gone.
Speedy looks nice, Bobo. More please.
