Hmm..I think 4 and 5 appeal most to me as a robot. What race you thinking on going for?
  • Enderstaley
I like 4 and 7. I haven't tried alchemy yet though with what Ive seen here Im def gonna give it a try. Great stuff so far!
  • Scrumpy
Corv : Thanks! I really like 7 too , I think i'm going to have a bit more time with that one .
Stinger : I thinking demon or maybe norm. Robots are not my strong point.
Enderstaley: Thanks! 7 is defiantly a favorite , I think I'm going to develop 4 some more since it seems liked.

On side notice. Number 8 looks like Leningrad Cowboys :D The design you are currently concepting is a lil bit too generic but there's potention if you push it harder :)
  • Scrumpy
7 and the first image are my favourite aswell, think I might try refining those later on today , with pencil :poly122: (not my strength!).

try to get more solid sillhouettes in alchemy, at the moment everything is made from crazy "speed shapes", makes it hard to figure out what you are trying to show. Then we can crit more on the design

and a little bit of a story...
    Race : Demon
    Class: Prince
    Name: Naberius
Background: Chained up for thousands of years by his father , a demon invoker ,a forced to "read" tome after tome of magical next, unfortunately spawned , with an incredibly small amount of mental power
Naberius was never allowed to leave his fathers study, until uphir Happen to arrive through the rift right into the library to which Naberius was held captive. Realizing an opportunity of a the immense library of magic and the huge weapon sized demon infront of uphir devised a plan. He researched for years , until he found a which in which he could in a way control Naberius , but also saw it as freeing him. He inscribed a gylphs into Naberius's collar then fashioned himself one. once forged and the chain linked sealed , a telepathic relationship formed between naberius and ulphir. Finally allowing him to escape by opening the simple Giant boltlock on the door to the libary he had never quite figured out the knack of... . Ulphir who purley wanted to kill any norm and cyborg he could see , and naberius needed a brain to do so. So they set off through the rift crashing through whatever they saw . Whilst having tactics whispered into his ears . Unforutanley the whole chains with collars thing is although not even a problem for naberius , for ulphir whenver naberius run he is left on a flyin in the air.
Just an idea still . Opinions welcome.

i would honestly say alchemy isnt for everyone. your pencils and z sketch are far stronger than trying to use something as abstract as alchemy. its cool and all and you can make some sweet things with it, but if you mind doesnt work in that abstract way it will be more of a fight than it is worth.

now for the characters. i personally like the guy with the reverse elizabethan collar and the dope horns. i say on all these concepts though you make the wings WAAAY bigger. you want that shit to be intimidating, not cute like a hemphalump

keep cracking bro, good stuff coming out so far

A lot of them look promising but they seem really noisy. Maybe turn the noise down some and get more defined shapes? Keep at it
  • Scrumpy
Just had a attempt at a cyborg design after looking at Konstruct's Thread . Not the best robot designer as you can see ..feedback appreciated.

Crap, man. Here I am whining about feedback and you haven't had any in a month! I feel like such an ass. Well, looks like you're still rolling around the concept stage. I kinda liked the cyborg at the top of this page here, and this other mech-y thing has potential. You just need to refine these sketches more, I think- they're still pretty loose. The alchemy stuff isn't really working for me- I'd say stick with the pencils.
  • Scrumpy
Thanks dude , ye I kinda of lost momentum , after nothing really inspired me to realyl get going . Maybe next time . thanks alot though for the look !
