More random scribblings than thumbnails, as I'm not too sure where I want to go yet, but I have a couple interesting idea's. Need to fall in love with one of at some point
I'm liking 1D and 1E, 2I, 4G, and 3C and 4A inspired some interesting idea's as well. Gonna be tough finding time to work on it this week, but week after this I don't have school

I really love 5a, 5f, and 8b, with my favorites being E7 and H7.
I think I'm centering around two separate general theme's for what I want to do.
Right now, its a really awesome, really young sniper chick that rides the fox mount and can pull off all sorts of crazy shenanigans with her rifle. Somewhat similar to Yoko from Gurren Lagann. That comes off as being a little typical though, so I think this idea needs some . . . more to take it even farther. I love it so much though.
My other theme is a kinda of bull/Chicken mount loaded with a saddle, and bags, and weapons, and ridden by this dour knight who with tiny metal wings on his shoulder pads, and a dented, metal halo hovering about his head.
I don't know. There are a couple other idea's I had too, and I'm sure there'll be more as the days go on, but right now it's these two opposing concepts that are torturing me.

Nice Concepts
Been working on these on and off for the past couple days. Just the first half of my initial ideas.
I still have to figure out how to push the fox further, and I'm not sure whether it should be done outside or inside the silhouette. I kind of like 2.4 and 2.2, they make him seem regal, so we'll see I guess.
His companion is gonna be a young girl, probably no older than 13.
For her, I like the heavyness of 9 and 13, and the lightness of 1. And 12 seems to be something of a happy medium, which is the one I'm leaning most closely towards.
But I dunno, I'm getting mixed opinions on the lot of them. What do you guys think?

@Jackablade: Thanks! Didn't know that's what they were called, but searching for that has yielded a couple of interesting results, where the phrase "demon fox" kinda failed.

TBH I like the character, but not as much as the fox and the girl, so I'm probably going to go with them and flesh out their concepts over the weekend so I can start on monday
The girl in 3 has a very road warrior feel, which is cool, if that's what you're going for. 9's my personal favorite.
It's a pity Google doesn't come with a "poorly drawn anime filter".
The Fox Spirits in Jade Empire might be a good reference. I suspect the only reason they don't have nine tails is because it would have used too many polygons.
