the render setup is pretty simple, its just 2 area lights (make sure you turn up thier size pretty high), a skylight and a hdr map for the reflections. The materials are slightly modified arch and design materials, and im using mental ray.
It renders nice and fast on my rig as well, about 40 seconds or so. Man i love my new rig
Sadly im running out of time to be clean with my high poly, and i dont have the skills to make it work peoperly mechanically so im going to bodge it.... AS long as noone can tell its all cool though.
hmmm... im only going to have about half a week left after i turn in all me assignments.... looks like ill have little chance of finishing it but heck im going to try...

I like how this one feels like it can actually work -- everything seems to have purpose and feels just right. Nice work!

Ill probably make the wheels bigger to support the weight.

This is my first attempt at making something proper with this style of modelling so i will speedup as i go.
also there has to be some sort of honors given to people who upgrade their rig so they can keep moving forward in the comp :P
