FREE PC Give-away - 3D for Games

Hello.

Over at 3d-for-games they are giving away a FREE PC!

The owner, Andy Gahan, works in the games industry and is working on the next Motorstorm game from Sony. He has written a few books on game modeling and are a very good read. Due to the success of the website within the first month of opening it, he is giving away a PC. OK, it's not the best PC, but it's free goddamn it!

what a dick way to get views to your site, and make sure you aren't taken seriously. If you got good information and a great place to be it will happen for fucks sake.

If you want views then make sure you have something worth viewing. This is not the way. For fuck sake, its as simple as having a mini comp with a "PC" as the prize. No one here would object to a heads up about a comp with a prize. This on the other hand is just lame.

If this is the type of creative thinking going on over there then its a wonder they have any members at all.

Not a very classy thing to do. You make more enemies than potential friends by having people go out and "spam" other forums

Andy, PM'd me and removed the spamming bit. I gave him a few options on how better to advertise and get along with community. I have no beef with another 3d forum, I post anywhere the content is I enjoy.
