That sucks. I hate to see someone's named aired like that just to get a scoop, and especially when it's confirming a handful of games that anyone could have expected would be along sooner or later anyway.

yeah I have stuff on my cv related to unpublished projects, but a bit of common sense always helps, ie just put un announced title for blahh engine or similar.
Obviously then you don't get the kudos of mentioning specific titles, but unless you have some kind of grudge its a silly thing to do
They omitted the persons name and links to her website.
I'm glad they realized it was a bit unethical to call somebody out in that way, and retracted it. Although, the damage had already been done. Sure, the person should not have put the titles for unannounced projects there in the first place, but nobody deserves to be put in the spotlight for a minor issue like that.

Totally agree. I think it was bang out of order personally. Games journalism at it's finest. An email notifying her about the issue from whoever discovered it would have been much more professional. Again, it was unethical like you said. Would this have put her job at risk by any chance?
