Today I accepted a contract job at Bioware Austin to work as an FX Artist on Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO. I wouldn't have gotten this job without the help of Rob Galanakis who said that I should apply. The phone interview went really well yesterday and I expecting some information next week. I was shocked to receive the offer 4 hours later.
If any of you Austin PC'ers know someone looking for a roommate, I am very easy going as some of you know who have met me, I don't smoke and know how to cook pretty well! My wife, will be remaining in Dallas for the duration of my contract, her job is doing well and its silly to give it up during this terrible economy. I'll be commuting home on the weekends.
Anyways, I wanted to share the good news with you all, since you have been so supportive over the years.

Better workout everyday, since you athletic devs will run me down.
Yesterday, I had a quick visit to BioWare, laid out very much like Gearbox which is a plus for me. Saw Rob for 2 seconds. We went to Tinos Greek Cafe last night for dinner food was decent. We heard that kerbey's Diner is really good for breakfast. Meeting up with stomps for dinner tonight. I would like to go downtown to catch diggnation at Stubbs, but I think this weekend would be insane traffic. We'll be driving back to Dallas on Sunday. Mary Rose (wife) keeps saying "you're moving to exciting Austin and I'm stuck in boring Dallas" lol
