Mega dump.
This is basically the start of when I decided to get serious about line work, and really pushing my drafting and line abilities.
I started with a comic, which is in hiatus unfortunately until personal circumstances change.
But I've been keeping sketching every since, and intend to keep going and learn as much as I can.

This is just a selection of pages for the comic:

I have no formal background on painting or drawing. I learned some of my 3d/game stuff over @ the art institute of Cali- San Fran (Bachelors of Science, lol) ... but they didn't teach squat about painting. I'm pretty much self taught on that front, except for maybe a few gnomon dvds.

Someone might be able to two and two together on this one.

Will be painting this.
Also going back through a bunch of old paintings, and tightening up salvageable ones. After looking through my portfolio, I pretty much threw every painting out, hah. Been awhile.

also with dom war around the corner, just been playing with thumbs since I haven't done any in forever.

my life has been rather chaotic for the last month or so, why I haven't been around much. I've been practicing more production oriented work. I'm thinking about taking a cue from hawkprey and using models for props, vehicles.

Need to step out of my bounds for a bit here.

Great stuff man! I really love your costume/fashion design, it is always so unique. The clenched fist on the rocker seems very strange, almost like his fist just grew out of his forearm and bypassed the need for a wrist. The same arm seems rather short and stubby as well. Look forward to seeing some more. Soon I hope.:)

working on a couple things at once, finished this first. Been watching Spartacus bloood and sand, felt inspired by the gladiator helmets specifically. Always thought they were sweet.. ;D

Your characters are all so fucking cool, that gladiator is just asking to be made even sicker... or maybe thats just me and my exceptionally twisted tastes.

Infact, that inspires me to attempt to come up with a fitting combatant... that I may just do!
