I apologize for the lack of images before, my account was pending so there was a delay while my thread was being verified so I was not able to reply to my own thread in order to post images.
its in the quick reply box too- theres a series of font style buttons (bold, italic, underline), a font color button, next to that a insert link button, and right next to that the image button.
I love your life drawings, always been a fan of that style (applying only shadows and highlights to make the form).
Being a 3d artist though, i am compelled to crit your 3d model You've got a decent understanding of topology. Whats throwing it off mainly is the fact that it's too low poly to support features like nostrils, which would require a different topology flow.
Since you dont plan on posting any more of your 3d work, I dont know if you already improved since then, but simplifying the nose will probably fix most of your problems around the mouth. evertyhing else tho is just a matter of getting the shape and form; the topology is there, just not in the right spot. Being able to paint shadows and highlights like that, you could easily fake those tones on the model's texture rather than sculpting it in the mesh, that would add much more style to your 3d characters
GsKanible: Thank you for the reply and the critique. I will be posting the rebuild of the model soon, hopefully it's much better. I do want to ask you about "topology is there, just not in the right spot", what do you mean by this? The model follows the shape of the original model very closely (I thought). So would you mind being specific about the areas that you are referring to?
I understand that there is little to say until I post the rebuilt version.
For context here is an image of the human model I am using.
This is where I am with the rebuild, I will replace this image as I progress. Comments are welcome (please note that this is far from finished, topology critiques are fine but pointing out tris or n-gons is pointless as all of the subdivisions are not yet in place).

*EDIT*
nice got it working! welcome to PC!
nice colors.
EDIT: I found it, my account was set by default NOT to show the format elements.......... sheesh wtf?
Here is my last attempt (that was unsatisfactory).
The new version rebuild will be here soon.
