We're having this weird issue with the pivot points of the bones going all out of whack with a rig and we're really not sure why. The odd thing is, it looks fine in the engine but it's all crazy in max. the scaling and size of the bones are fine...it's just the pivot points.
We've tried 'merge animation', Save/Load Animation under File >...just not sure what the deal is?
