Hey all.
I want to export a mesh from Maya 2008 into Max 2009 and start unwrapping.
I prefer the 3dsMax unwrap tools
I export the mesh as OBJ file and import into Max.
However, when I export the mesh back into Maya as OBJ the vertex numbers have changed :S
Can this be solved using another file format or is it inevitable?
Any input will be helpful.

And yes.... if you don't have your personnal set of tools in Maya for mapping.... You're right. it's shit with Maya
