Camtasia or similar...

I'm starting to record some videos with intentions of doing a voiceover and talking about workflow in them. For that reason, I do not want real time sculpting. For all of you crazies out there who have done camtasia recording, do you have any tips for me on doing the recording? I played with timelapse last night and had some good results in speeding it up that way. Any other ways to speed up the video?
