I'm gonna get a new laptop because I'm moving to Europe and can bring a laptop on the plane for free. I'd like to see what they say when I bring that on!
Does it list the resolution on the screens? I got one of the Dell XPS m1530's with the 1920x1200 res 15" screens, holy man it's the best. I've ditched the old dual 21" monitors for it simply for the resolution. I'm on board with TeriyakiStyle, having a single screen with dual ports would be more practical.
What I would really like to see is a Cintiq tablet PC...
if the price is right and screen quality/battery life is good I can see myself buying something like that.
I prefer 2 standard aspect monitors to a single widescreen by far
I'm with aniceto on this one, I much prefer the dual screen over a single widescreen.
I would use something like this without question. Except for the hard drives, the hardware specs in this bad boy are better than my home desktop.
I wonder how much this would actually cost, as I haven't seen a listed price.
damn, was looking for a laptop that was dual screen and had reasonable specs about 10 months ago but it yeilded little fruit. like aniceto said it would be nice to have a rough battery life expectancy, and i would like to see a model with 17inch monitors also. such a great machine for the artist on the go
Yeah, it's a bit early to put in a pre-order, especially with no price quoted. Then there are few details about the laptop itself.
I love the idea. I like my 17" laptop, but the size can be difficult to deal with at times. The only bonus to the 17" is the full keyboard... although I don't see why a expandable numberpad couldn't be out of the question too
I'm curious if it will work in single monitor mode too. That way you could slide them shut on a plane, but when you want to spread out your work, you can switch to dual.

but 4-8 gigs of ram sounds promising on a laptop
There are a few ass slow network extension apps out there...
http://www.maxivista.com/ <- 30$ or something, I don't think I'd pay for it.
http://www.zoneos.com/zonescreen.htm <- free, but I've never used it so let me know if it's any good if you do give it a go.
I wish there was a VGA input to just use the display on my laptop, I'd love to hook up my 360 to this screen.
Reality or practicality is far, far away.

it would have to be in silver though.
(mac fanboi-ism is dead btw)
