perhaps a wise choise for picking up polyboost- though I fear that some of its tools like cavity map rendering and other unique stuff might be gone. Performance seams to be nice as well- just hope that the ribbon GUI (esspecially poly edit) will work well with maxscripts from the past and present.
..and 4.1 is the last stop. So Max 2009 users and below don't get any more future polyboost enhancements.
Hopefully orionflame doesn't get absorbed too.
I'm a bit worried about this as well...simply because I hate 3ds max 2009 as the viewport is really sluggish and choppy to me. I'm still on max 2008 x64 & I really hope 2010 has its' issues fixed.
I've been a long time Polyboost user and lover, and whether the creator continues to develop these tools in the future with Autodesk remains to be seen...
But one thing is for sure - this is going to give 3ds Max users THE best poly modelling toolset in the industry - period - straight out of the box.
