I want to showcase something im working on as a freelancer.
The model will be diffuse only and currently it weights at 6100 tris.
I have a limit of 7000 tris to spend on other accessories that he might have.

Probably should push the hairline back a bit. Now it looks like he has shaved the bangs, let the hair on top of his head grow long, and used it instead of bangs.
Heh good catch by zenarion, that hairline does look quite strange ... nice mesh though and the textures are painted nicely, I like the jeans.

I worked more on the jacket today but i'm going to show some more pics tomorrow,even close ups.

Hey guys i have been trying to get the jacket done,and finally i can say i'm happy with the results.I already remade it 2 times lol
Anyway,i fixed the forehead and right now im working on the fur.Let me know what you think about jacket and the rest.Ignore the fur for now
looks great! from a distance (last pic) his face looks pretty roughed up though (black eye?). up-close it all seems fine but from far away he is either very very tired or drunk, or beaten up pretty badly . great stuff! keep it going!

I finally rigged the model,still there are some places that dont deform well,but i'm fixing them.

here's an update to the scene.Not really sure about the pose yet,but i'll try to get a better one.Ideas? thanks
PS. Axe still needs some scaling. The distance from blade to end of spike looks right, as does the width, but it looks too short the other way (height?). A handle length somewhere between yours and the one that Marshal posted would look better IMO.
I know this is really kinda off-topic and stupid but if you're presenting it in a reel on that background you should probably make sure that the fence mesh is scaled right it looks weird. >_>
I agree with the crits so far, especially the scaling bit rdmlegend mentioned. I'm guessing that's a telephone pole in the scene. If that's the case, its way too thin. Looking forward to the final presentations sheets!
Marshal Banana i never used that as a reference.Mostly i had to come up with a face and hair by myself,but the contractor asked me to give him an unshaved look.I wanted to make him a bit older though...

I would think perhaps a little bit more contrast in the jeans, would help "pop" the texture out.

I don't know if it's just from the angle of the picture but his neck seems a little thin, and straight.

anyways only thing that bothers me a little is the ax being too small, Firefighter axes are a bit bigger than that, easy fix tho.
