just joined yesterday to see what was up.

Its more of the same but just in a different coating, just no chocolata banana flava this time.
Don't gawk at the idea and usefulness behind it just because its categorized as a 'social network'. It gives me, you, and anyone in-between, a chance to follow and listen to people that you generally respect and want to learn from that you will not have access to on sites like Facebook and that bloated POS MySpace. And you don't have to go through the hassle of blog jumping to do so. 140 characters can be more than enough.
Lately I've found it to be an awesome tool if you're interested in keeping up with the web & technology scene.
That's why I made the post, to see if those of us already on it could start adding each other and make quick gestures of thought in the realm of what we do, videogame art. I could care less to see pictures of your greasy hair and pimply faces, otherwise this would be a Facebook thread.
"Seriously, who cares". No one cares. A thread was made and people are replying because no one cares. Twit :P

But seriously, sites are too much trouble to update so people turned to easy to set up blogs. Now those are too much trouble so the world twitters, (as they walk blindly down the street bumping into people, things and traffic). Soon that will be too much strain on our poor thumbs and we'll have to give that up. This too, shall pass. Hopefully someone gets something useful out of it before it gets replaced with the next new thing
