Hello there, I'm new here but I've been lurking for a while.
I'm having a bit of a problem, or at least I think so, regarding a mesh I've been working on. It's a character, part of a school project where I do more in depth work in modeling and texturing and then take it into unreal 3 editor.
When looking on my character in the mesh preview it looks horrible in certain lighting angles. I've put together an image to show you what I mean.

I personally think it looks ok when the light is from below, but I want it to work from all angles. But I don't know what I've done wrong, my guess is it has something to do with the smoothing?
And try to ignore the hair, it's still a w.i.p.

Thanks in advance for your help

bigger pics plz too.
It's my first serious try at a character so I know it probably sucks. But it worked fine in Maya so it feels like I might have exported it wrong somehow (I used ActorX)
