Mega snow in UK

hey, its seems to have snowed alot last night which gave me the chance to build a snow man on my car.

I went to college with my car and the carpark was untouched, I happened to 'accidently' to a couple of skids n shit, proper fun and got stuck a couple of times

if it's still snowing when i get home i'm going out with the camera, i haven't seen any snow in *years. Used to do this every single February without fail when i was a kid, but then just stopped. Must be the recession

Yep! Couldnt get to work today, the last 4 tube stops on my commute were closed and all buses were suspended.

All the schools here are closed so there is million snowball fights going on.

Was pretty evil last night when doing the delivery rounds down near Portsmouth, UK- went out this morning and all the cars had a good few inches of snow on them

Did think about doing a few powerslides and stuff last night but knowing my luck I'd bin my bro's car hehe

I can believe the bbc on the amount of snow, tho about 2 or 3 years ago it snowed pretty heavy. My cat sorta sank when he tryed to go out the cat flap.

My parents have similar amounts of snow EVERY winter but they live in the depth of the Black Forrest in Germany so it's kinda the normal for them

That's awesome, it snowed here a few weeks back, so much fun.

Hopefully everyone will be smart, stay in and just enjoy it while it lasts. We had a few idiot bus drivers side down some hills in Seattle and punch through a guard rail 20ft above the freeway...

We had a sleet just yesterday, no magnitude like the ones we had a while ago.

Back in 96' I think it snowed until one of the trees outside my house broke off. No pics to show though.

Also in Kent here, and my home town Gravesend was on the news apparently. It's really quite bad here and I'm guessing it may get worse before tomorrow. That's no problem though!

Needs more 'cats in snow' pictures. Love watching them walk through the snow and making sure each hind leg proceeds the front one exactly.

We got a fair bit up here in the North-East aswell this morning - the traffic was mayhem because of it.

2 hours to get to the end of my road this morning meant I eventually got to work 2 hours 45 minutes later than usual!

This was my front door last year. we were 21 cm short of breaking the annual snowfall record. We were pissed that we suffered the winter with sow much snow and were unable to get a new record.

we got just over 4 meters of snow last year.

This was the scene in the 2nd half of the winter. Within a 7 day span we got hit with about 75 cm of snow.

it is one of the reasons that I could remain sane last year.
