Character Rigger opening
Job responsibilities:
Creating rigs for an in-engine character that mirrors non-game character
animation, facial expressions and blend shapes
Creating rigs for simulating cloth and hair
"Own" the pipeline for a cross-industry, high profile, character-driven
project
Solve and troubleshoot any animation pipeline-to-character issues
Work and contribute effectively in a team environment while meeting
deadlines
Collaborate with the Art Director and Lead Programmer in the creation of
consistent, high-quality work
Required skills:
Thorough working knowledge of competitive 3D packages, preferably Maya
Deep understanding of anatomy and attention to detail
Ability to take on large and complex tasks independently
Able to respond intelligently to difficult creative challenges
Creative problem solving
Outstanding communication skills
Ability to work within technical constraints and generate top-quality art
Clear understanding and implementation of technical guidelines and
constraints
Ability to effectively collaborate with other departments
Extras:
