Is your studio obsessed with bacon or is this just a Mythic thing? I blame Bacon Salt's aggressive marketing to game devs (giving packages of bacon salt to producers at shows)
New talent has nothing to fear. Openings are being created every day as seasoned vets clutch their chests with greasy, bacony hands... at least you go out happy.
Yes. I has no job, but I too am obsessed with bacon - which is entirely because of baconsalt. I bought the original flavors and baconaisse simply so i can lay them upon already baconated food items to DOUBLE - no TRIPLE the experience.
unfortunately this was before the new flavors came out - and to my dismay, the local grocer's response was negative when I sent in a request to carry the new flavors!
Our studio is obsessed with bacon, its a Danish thing they have the best bacon in the world i shit you not. Our chefs include it into all sorts of foods all the time. I would say i eat bacon at least once a week. I believe all of the bacon in the UK is Danish bacon.
So for those of us who haven't grown up in a culture where it seems to be considered entirely normal, what the hell is with combining salted meats with sugar? Now look, I'm a fan of icecream. Icecream is awesome. Hell it's the only thing keeping me sane in this freaking heatwave. I don't mind bacon if it's not too heavily salted and has had the worst of the fat soaked up. But bacon icecream? Let's just read this out loud here.
"Bacon...Icecream".
"Bay-con... Ice-cream".
"Bacon Icecream". These are not two things that are meant to go together. One is distinctly sweet, the other very much savoury. Vanilla Icecream- great. Chocolate- peachy. Bacon? Madness.
You know, the Japanese make icecream out of sweet corn and pumpkin. I can dig that. They're all kinda sweet. But Bacon? It boggles the mind.
And it doesn't stop there. You have cookies. Sweet cookies with bacon. Or bacon doused in teeth hurtingly sweet syrup... I mean. What is it with you?

I don't believe bacon ice cream is normal in any culture, but we're an obese nation that's addicted to greasy, fatty, salty, and diabetes-inducing sugary foods. It was only a matter of time before someone came up with it.
canada has maple ham and maple bacon... both products are smoked and drenched in maple syrup... which is a very sweet substance.. I can't each maple products because it goes right to the core of your teeth, even if you don't have cavities.
I dont think those bacon strips are salty after theyve been candied.
besides salty+sweet can be an awesome combo!
Jackablade, you really have to try bacon and pancakes with some maple syrup. YUM

It can be an interesting read if someone has been there before you.
And after bacon!
Not just Mythic, same kind of thing going on at GBX.

bacon lip balm is a necessity, though
That can't be healthy.

But ham is one of those meats that you cook with sweet stuff like brown sugar or honey so maybe it's not so crazy.
I like turkey bacon.
