this is from the movie Aachi and Ssipak, one of the coolest animes I've ever seen. Buy it on ebay for $5, more than half of it is fight scenes like this, all equally as cool.

I was REALLY disappointed with Tokyo Gore Police, I don't know how they managed to make all that gore and violence boring, but they did. There was a scene where the blood gushing scene lasted about 3 minutes. I fell asleep during it. Machine girl rocks, especially if you don't take it seriously. I've heard good things about Attack Girls Swim Team VS. The Undead. That's more zombie, than straight action, I guess. Ichi the Killer was great for over the top violence, but that ending was not really for someone who's into Arnie movies.

If you don't mind undead in your movies, and would like some crazy action, there's a movie simply called, "Versus" that's really fun, and very cool. It's like if night of the living dead took place in Japan, while in the Matrix. It's awesome.

i gotta second the Versus recommendation. Just make sure you grab the unrated version, because the US release is cut to absurdity (the fight scenes are ridiculously disjointed due to them chopping out the gore... which makes up a lot of said fight scenes).

Ya beat me to it. This movie should be a right of passage for all teenage boys in their journey to become men. The latest Rambo movie is up there too.
