I didn't have any concepts they were mostly spontaneously modeled so if you have any design improvements I'd be glad to hear them too.

The shoulder rest on the weapon looks to boxy and sharp. Try chamfering some of those edges.

It's hard to give a good solid crit with limited info and images....but so far this doesnt "scream" Ogre to me. Typically Ogre's have a lot of mass so you have a lot of forms to play around with. The armor right now looks like it's being built for an average size human dude. Try beefing it up a little. And depending on the size of your ogre, that gun looks like it would be a wee bit tiny for his big ogre hands.

Should have made it clearer, Ogre 3D is an open source rendering engine and the project currently doesn't have a name.

I've got some more tweaks to do on the model and I'll get some better pictures up with a head.

The gun - looks as if you used only a side view to model it as it is totally flat there. A good remedy would be to remove all optimisations, reconnect edges so that modelling can be completed.
The character - seems too early to be making armour when the body mesh and head mesh have not been created yet.

Yea, I'm trying to "unflatten" it

Here's an update to the gun, I'm going to give it a rest for a bit and work on the character model now
