Much like Razorbladder, I'm horribly out of practice, and I was never very good to begin with. At first I thought the skillmatching sucked (I kept losing horribly. I'm talking about getting one kill, versus the other guy getting 38), but then I realised it just didn't go any lower. Surprising, considering the test-match has the option 'I've never played a first-person shooter'

Applied for beta a month ago i think. Nothing yet. We will see. Used to play q3 a bit back in the day. Big shooter fan but i´m not like those crazy q3 people you saw back in the day.

Once i get my key we should get some shit rolling. Yeah, that´s right. Don´t start without me ;P

Renaud: I just tried to add you, and they've apparantly closed invitations again. Every now and again my invitations dissapear, and I take it it that means they've got all the people they need. Just wait a few days.

If the stability is anything to go by, that's probably not too far off, Renaud.
They're doing a second 'crash-test', where they try to get as many people online as they can to test the servers.

So is this Quake 3 on the newer Id engine, but with the same original assets? I guess Im trying to figure out where its meant to stand? Is it going to be supported by ad revenue?

No; mostly; it's meant to kick OA's ass and all those Korean free-to-play nickel-and-dime FPSes; and yes.

Beta signups and invites seem to be getting more attention this time around, so it's best to easily find out yourself.

like 200ms, back in the days playing Rocket Arena 3, the norm would be like 7ms or somewhere around 20ish at tops

the new levels are kinda cool eh
