we bought two new kittens today.
My other cat if you remember was really ill died a few weeks back which was really sad, because it
turns out he had throat cancer. dreadful business really. he had a heart condition so he could n''t
really walk anymore. hard to take really.
But yeah since then we have moved house to leyton in East London, got a nice big 2 bed flat with
garden.
my freelancing is going ok so we thought why not get the new cats.
both tabby, once male one female 8 weeks old.
have n't got nay pics yet, but they are cute as hell. both sleeping now. its tough being a kitten

WTF!
an some picturz
Id forgotten how mad kittens are . The initial shyness has worn off now, they have started chewing stuff already:0
here is my poor old cat who passed away
EDIT he is not dead in this pic, he is just sleeping:O
Sorry for the old one.
Would like to have some cats myself one day, I think they are way better than dogs.
Never let your cat population get above 10...or you'll end up with 50 in no time flat. Upside: You wont find yourself with a snake problem.
Aren't they related? A population explosion of slightly cross-eyed drooling cats! Haha!
we bought them locally. the animal shelters can be a but fussy sometimes. ie have you got a
catflap. (bit of an interrogation)
some of them charge entrance fees too.
I can see why though, but we just found it easier to buy them someone local
Dying to get a kitty myself... one day... one day...
Kittens are a joy. My sympathies on your loss Ruz. He sounds like he was a good faithful companion.
he was very nervous too and if anyone came the house he would hide( tv licence man LOL)
The new kittens are wearing me out. I have a 3pm deadline in my freelance work and they are
distracting me.
The neighbor's cats killed some canaries of mine long time ago, too sad aswell, they were the "masters" (those used to teach other canaries to sing) and breeded since egg practically.
Take care with your sofa, if it's an expensive one of leather, cats are awful hahaha
Polycounter's pets thread on the fly...
The wife and I rescued a kitten not that long ago and added it to the two we already had. The new one is very skittish, no one believes we have a 3rd cat. we can't even find her some times, until its 3am and she goes racing across the pillows ha!.
I totally understand kittens wearing you out the one we have is trouble enough. I didn't think the first two had mellowed that much but add a little ball of claws rolling around on the floor as contrast and wow, what a difference...
Anyway, congrats on the new additions!
He hated strangers almost as much as Hill Billies:)
Blaizer I understand you on that score. Its just unfortunate that cats are so good at catching
birds cause I like all wildlife. (I used to be a wildlife artist)
To be fair my old cat only caught 1 creature in its whole life.
My other cat years ago brought home voles, rabbits etc and never hurt them.
The same cat used to dip his paws in cups of tea for a drink:)
zbrush kitteh - I haz deleted your zbrush models
lulu and jimbo
cheers ruz.. some cuties you have there
Sorry to hear about your old cat, Ruz.

worst on was old bloke called george. my wife was always being hit on by him. The missus lived
in a flat by herself at the time ( we had just met then).
seems landlords and truck drivers should be targeted first if there is a murder in the area:)
