Me and this guy graduated the at the same time and we both got best of show... (all true) he's practically an Asian kp doppelganger! only his business cards were metal... okay, luv him with mouth pc!
Website is simple and easy, not awesome, but i like it.
One thing you do need to look at is the image size. most of the are above 1mb, or almost 2mb.
Save those for web at 80% quality reduces the img size alot without losing hardly any visiable quality. I had to wait quite some time before they were loaded, and that gets anoying after 3 images.
you know how many of us have been looking for examples of some of your work?
yea the image size is a tad bit big, i dig the layout though
only thing that bugs me, and its a small thing at that, is that when im scrolling through your images using lightbox, your images arent the same size, so the button moves and i cant sit there and scroll through them without moving my mouse
not saying im lazy, but ive heard people complain about this a few times so its something to think about
i could care less, just thought id point it out
glad to finally have it, never had you as a teacher, but your stuff is killer, and dico still has some of it around
...including the metal card
Your work is still making me smile Mr. Fong. You've definitely improved alot over at CME. I agree with the previous posts about your site being super easy to navigate. That causes butterflies to violently erupt from my sternum, no lie.
There were some seemingly long load times on my PC here at work, but then again this PC is full of crap. literally. Im guessing if you lessen those pic sizes like previously mentioned, it might reduce the load time? Not trying to be nitpicky, but i thought I'd bring it to your attention. Inspiring stuff as always.
thx for the feedbacks, all of them are good points. I will def shrink those down .Im not sure is it the files size or the gallery viewer im using causing the lag also. lol, Kp, saw your mario schematics on the gun, f ing brilliant. btw Ron bravo the awesome set up my website, if anyone needs helps. send an updates when i fixed those issue and have some more stuff to show, been busy with the nvart contest. thx again fot the crits.
here you go kp, not a whole lots of crits at cgtalk. still need to make those changes for the site but added my graduation reel from way back. brings back memories
this is the link to the surreal challeges wip, feedbacks are welcome!
finish the nvart challenge http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=279&t=736412. ill still take crits for this, so i wont repeat the mistake next time. Fix the loading issue. I reduce the size and keep most of em under 1mb, works great. still got problems but is out of my skillsets. i will adresses those later.
