Polyboost multiple object-unwrap?

I put some Polyboost tools (align horizontal/vertical, mostly) in my uvw quad-menu, and apparantly they only work on single objects, not 2009's multi-object unwrap. Any way around this, or any great scripts that can do this?

I'm a max-noob (especially when it comes to customisation), so I thought I'd poke the green collective and see if anything usefull'd turn up.

    The unwrap multiple objects is pretty new and a lot of scripts haven't been updated yet. I'm kind of surprised polyboost hasn't been updated yet. but then again I'm not, the maxscript help doesn't really include ways to work with multiple selection unwraps, It's been updated with new click-able graphics but seems to assume that there is no differance, when there clearly is... I started writing my own UV align scripts that works on verts and edges, but I haven't been able to get them to work on multiple selection unwraps. It's something I keep thinking of revisiting but something more important always seems to crop up. I also find myself doing less and less unwrapping...

    Crappy work around(s):
    - You can select a few verts, and in the lower U V W type in boxes type 0 or 1 and it will flatten that selection to either the left right top or bottom, depending on if you put a 1 or a 0 in U it will smash it left or right. V1 is up, V0 is down.

    - Select a few verts and switch the UVW scale option to up/down or left/right and scale the selection until the all align.

    - Join everything and unwrap it as one object, using whatever scripts you want then detach each piece.

    - Pester other script writers to update their scripts.

    James Haywood has align scripts but they only work on verts, don't work on multi select unwraps and haven't been updated since 07 (max9)

    Neil Blevins, I don't think he created UV align scripts, but its probably something he can tackle, but working at Pixar I'm sure they have minions that carefully flatten their UV's by hand, vert by painful vert.

    Bobo the maxscript God, might be open to a new pet project, probably would take him 10min tops... But probably beneath him.

    dont get your hopes to high,- it seems that the feature of editing multiple objects in UVW-unwrap is messy supported - autodesk you did it again :(

    details in the follwing link

    those commands in the link are essential to some align scripts that I wrote perhaps even for other scripts by other users.
