Anybody know of a good uv packer/unwrapper for light mapping in maya? Haven't really found anything free or licensed online except for this nebula2 toolkit which doesn't really do anything we can't script in maya for free.
Hm, the DirectX SDK has a fairly good UV unwrapper/packer but it's just the C++ source code, if you know anyone who has experience implementing Maya plugins, they could probably port it across fairly easily.
I don't know of any 3rd party plugins which already exist though.
