Hi. This is my first post here, although I´ve always seen the forum as unregistered user.
After I finished
Haitian gangsta I wanted to do another realtime character but this model will be different. In this case I´m looking for a character more realistic but at the same time stylized like in games Metal Gear Solid 4 or Resindent Evil 5. In fact, I´m really inspired by Chris Redfield in Resident Evil 5 although I´ve choosen a scifi enviroment for my character. I also want to finish a realtime character with more polygons and big textures as at current next-gen videogames. I´m thinking with 18.000 tris for body, hair and weapon is enough.
But righ now I´m making high poly character.
I call my character Owen because I like Clive Owen´s face, probably I´ll model him soon but I have to see another faces of men so the face is temporal, I don´t like it now, it looks like a german person.
Coments are welcome and they are necessary.

Good stuff though. I was looking at your site, your characters have a lot of personality to them.
I like the hard edge modeling on the armor parts.
Did you use Zbrush or something else?

Yes, Stubbs, you are right. I´ve to model pants with zbrush to make it more naturals. thanks!
thank you Hal. Right now I model with classic 3d app in my case is 3dsMax, because I don´t have a good machine to model high desinty meshes for hard surface. This system is slower than model everything in Zbrush but how it´s a personal project I prefer work this method.

Almighty_gir...hahahaha, yes, I think a space marine or an orc is the most fan art in character modelling. I´ve to do comercial characters.

thank guys. The lighting is quite simple. I always use two area lights and one sky light, final gather settings are in low.
This weekend I could work in a new face, but I don´t like yet. It´s quite realistic and I´m looking for a stylized forms...so probably I repeat it. I don´t care is so funny to model heads.
